Yungneung and Geolleung Royal Tombs consist of Yungneung Royal Tomb of Crown Prince Sado or Honorary King Jangjo, and Geolleung Royal Tomb of Jeongjo, the 22nd king of the Joseon Dynasty, and his consort Queen Hyoui. King Jeongjo relocated his father Jangjo's tomb to the current place from Dongdaemun-gu Seoul. A lot of tomb architectures including stone figures show King Jeongjo's filial piety to his father. Such as this, Yungneung reflects King Jeongjo's dedication to his father. Even after he had passed away, King Jeongjo showed the full filial duty to his father, by being buried beside him.
